Since the first lockdown, the amount of families requiring support has more than doubled.   At Grove Place, our community in Hampshire, residents Tricia and Neville organised a food bank collection to support the local school in Nursling.  Residents and staff generously donated non-perishable food such as pasta, cereals, lunchbox cakes, tins of soup, baked beans and other items.  Other residents have kindly donated funds to help the school buy fresh healthy fruits and vegetables.

As we near the ‘beginning of the end’ of national lockdown and the associated restrictive measures, we can’t help but feel a glimmer of hope that life is returning to normal and our villages will once again be buzzing with vibrant activity.

On 26^th July, the courtyard garden at Battersea Place was transformed into a magical wonderland in celebration of our second anniversary.
